A few new enhancements have been introduced to the Rumie App in 4.2. The main Login page will default to Learner account login and will lists the Learner usernames when signing in, removing the toggle between both "Learner" and "Admin" options. Similarly, by clicking on the “Admin” button will take you to the Admin Login page where all the Admin username will be listed. For both cases, Learner and Admin, you will just need to select your username and hit “Continue”

Depending on the configuration of the Project settings, if the Manager has enabled or disable the toggle of requiring learner passwords to Login into the Rumie App, from within RMC. Through this toggle, Learners will not need to input passwords during the Rumie App login process. Including this, the Login duration can be set for each Learner and after the duration is complete, the Learner will automatically be logged out, and they will be promoted to log in again. The Admin will always require to Login. You will have to select your username depending on what your user role is and hot continue to proceed the login process.

Project Configuration

Once your project has been created in the LearnCloud Admin Panel (see LearnCloud User Guide), there are two ways to load the Deployment Library from the LearnCloud Admin Panel to the Rumie App. It can be done through the Internet or using the SD cards that are provided along with the Rumie Tablets. The Project Setup must be done by the Admin of the Project.

If your Internet bandwidth is limited or your connection is weak consider using SD cards. It might take a significantly longer time to load the project if Internet connectivity is poor.

Automatically perform sync - This can be performed when "Enable automatic Internet (Wi-Fi)" has been toggled ON on your Rumie Tablet or device and the Auto-Sync is enabled in the Project Device Settings in Rumie Management Center. Automatic sync will be initiated and your Project will be successfully synced to your Rumie Tablet or device. within the next 60 minutes. Before the sync takes place, you will need to ensure that your Rumie Tablet or device is connected to Wi-Fi and has enough battery. If the battery level is below 50% plug-in your Tablet or device to a power source.

Manually perform sync - This can be performed in three different scenarios, as follows:

  1. When "Auto Sync" has been toggled ON and you confirm you have a Wi-Fi Internet connection

  2. When "Auto Sync" has been toggled OFF, however, you do have a Wi-Fi Internet connection

Viewing Collections

In the Rumie app, we have made improvements by offering "My Libraries" as a new option in the Lesson Path. "My Collections" has been removed from the menu. Users can now view collections at a library level. Initially, if all or multiple selected libraries were synced, all collections were aggregated under one single collections view. Now every library will have its own view which makes viewing and accessing content more effective. Users can toggle between the different libraries they have synced from their project and can view the collections from a single library at a single time.

  1. Select “My Libraries” to view your active Libraries in your Project

  2. Once you see the Library view you can select the Library you want to view the collections for and select “Continue”
